Overview
It is common to find that people tell lies in business, act deceptively or deliberately mislead. This may include dishonest job applicants, or employees who have done something wrong, or suppliers or customers who want to hide the true nature of an unethical or illegal relationship with the organisation. It is not so common to find that people who have to ask questions and are the recipients of those lies or untruthful answers, have had any training in how to spot deception, or in sorting fact from fiction.
This course has been developed to enhance the communication skills of participants who rely on information provided by others through verbal or written communication. It will provide participants with techniques which they can use to plan and ask questions in a structured manner in order to obtain factual answers from persons who may be evasive or reluctant to provide answers.
