Rachelle graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Canterbury in 2010. Since completion of her degree, she has been extensively involved in implementing Governance, Risk and Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering software across the financial services, public, government and utility sectors. Particular areas of focus have been in the risk assessment, incident recording and compliance areas. 

Rachelle joined the Protecht Risk Advisory team in January 2015. She is actively involved with clients in solution designs covering the user interfaces, workflow process and reporting. Her computer science background gives her a solid understanding of the technology components within Protecht.ERM. Rachelle specialises in the implementation of Protecht’s ERM software.

David Bergmark consults on a variety of market and enterprise risk management issues and is actively involved in the development and implementation of Protecht's risk management software (ERM and ALM).

David started out in the audit division of Price Waterhouse in 1990, handling clients such as Macquarie Bank and Bankers Trust. By 1994 he was Risk Controller for Carrington Securities - a financial markets trading company.

In 1996 David left Carrington to head up the Risk Management Department at IBJ Australia Bank (IBJA) where he was responsible for the development of all risk disciplines at the bank – market, credit, liquidity and operational.

Alf has established a number of risk management frameworks in financial services, real estate and property development, mining and exploration, and heavy engineering sectors.

A Certified Compliance Professional, Alf has an impressive collection of qualifications, including a BSc in Pure Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, a Graduate Diploma in Commercial Bank Management and an MBA in general management. He is also a member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals, past President of the GRC Institute and past member of for-profit and not-for-profit organisations.

Adel is a highly skilled sales management professional with a proven track record in account management, new business development and leadership skills based on a foundation of integrity, trust and ethics. Adel has more than 10 years’ experience selling and consulting into various industries.

His key area of focus besides Risk and Compliance is Business Research, Marketing and Technology.

Adel joined The Protecht team in 2018 and plays a key role in the company’s accelerated growth plans. When Adel is not talking to Risk and Compliance professionals you will find him in the gym or in the park trying to keep up with his children.

Selina has extensive experience in interest rate risk analysis and balance sheet risk management. She has managed the Protecht.ALM product and ALM analytics since 2003 and assisted clients with interest rate risk management of their portfolios. Prior to this Selina worked in Treasury at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Colonial State Bank, in the areas of derivative settlements, market risk and asset & liability risk management, where she was responsible for Value at Risk analysis and balance sheet management.

Selina holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Masters of Commerce from the University of Sydney.

Soe Vloebergs was appointed Account Director in May 2018. She is responsible for the ongoing management of Protecht’s customers base. Soe will be assisting clients with their contract renewal, any training or system requirements and escalation of issues.

She has more than 9 years of experience in account and customer engagement in market research, publishing and IT in Belgium and Australia.

Luna brings to Protecht skills and experience across strategic marketing planning, inbound strategy, public relations, event management and social media.

 

Luna was appointed to lead the Marketing department at Protecht in June 2015 where she is responsible for developing, implementing and executing the strategic marketing plan for the company, driving awareness and demand for Protecht’s products and services.

Author of 'A Short Guide to Operational Risk', David Tattam is an internationally recognised specialist in all facets of risk management, particularly at the enterprise level.

His career includes many years working with PwC, as well as two Australian banks. His achievements include the creation of the Middle Office (Risk Management Department) for The Industrial Bank of Japan in Australia and the complete implementation of all Australian operations, systems, procedures and controls for Westdeutsche Landesbank (WestLB).

David went on to found Protecht in 1999, where he continues to offer consultation and training in a wide range of industries, setting up risk management functions and implementing enterprise risk systems. He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a Senior Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia.

Leading the Technology team, Peter is responsible for driving the development of Protecht's risk management software products; Protecht.ERM, Protecht.CCRM and Protecht.ALM. The team also manages all design, development, documentation, support, testing and hosting operations for the business.

Peter has more than 20 years of experience in software development; including design and architecture, security, testing, consulting and training. His many skills include Business Service Management (including ITIL and Six Sigma), System and Application Performance Management, Capacity Planning and, most recently, Risk Management disciplines.

Jax has thirty years’ experience across product development, consulting, teaching, and management in Fin Services, Telecoms and Tech Start-ups.

Throughout his career, he has focused on delivering value to customers, and he now leads the software teams as development manager, product owner, scrum master, quality assurance, and change agent.

Jax is responsible for ensuring that the product developed is both relevant to our customers’ changing needs, and built with the latest techniques & practices that support the company’s standing as the leading provider of risk solutions.

Jax wrote his thesis on Artificial Intelligence at Macquarie University and hasn’t seen a Neural Network since.

In his spare time, Jax builds a large genealogical database, writes poetry, and plays bagpipes in the Rural Fire Service.

Holding a BA (Hons) Degree in English Literature & History from the University of Sheffield, UK and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) from Canterbury Christ Church University, UK. She has a track record of success in teaching, training, coaching, programme management and educational leadership with expertise and interest in Online Learning.
 
Catherine joined the Protecht Team in November 2017 as The Information Technology Trainer and is responsible for delivering the Risk Analytics Software Training to our client base.

Annabelle joined Protecht in 2017, following a career of working within the Private Health Insurance sector as a Risk and Compliance professional.

With over 7 years’ experience within Risk and Compliance, Annabelle brings with her a wide range of skills and qualifications in; Process Design and mapping, Project and Business Management to name a few.

Prior to joining Protecht, Annabelle was the Administrator of the Protecht ERM system for a large Company.

Annabelle is enthusiastic and passionate about all aspects of Enterprise Risk Management, in her down time, she enjoys the Arts, Epicure and training her off the track thoroughbred racehorse for Dressage competition.
